Entwickler müssen hohe Gebühren für 360 Patches zahlen

Meine Meinung:

I really love FEZ. It is a piece of art. But it lacks stability and correctness. The patch disaster wasn't tolerable and the situation now isn't as well. You blame Microsoft for your move to bring back the old, unfinished patch? Microsoft is doing the right thing. It was YOUR fault that the game has bugs, not Microsofts. Back in the 90s where there were no internet, games were launched finished. Then there was the internet and the possibility to fix unfinished games arised. But the possibility to do so should not become the rule!!

I support Microsofts policy to charge you for a fix for a game that should have been finished straight away!

The patch had been QA'd to death by both me and Microsoft's testing partners AND certification lab for more than two weeks before it came online. That this particular problem happened without any of us noticing exposes a flaw in code quality, but also in testing methods, and paying for more certification costs to something that does not need it anymore feels very wrong to us.
Of course the best case scenario is that this whole ordeal never happened. But turns out that bugs can happen, especially with an inexperienced 2-man team, and when they do we barely have the opportunity to correct our mistakes.
