Geschmackssache halt. Es kommen reichlich andere gute Spiele. Für jeden was dabei.

Hab ma was gefunden
Dear Halo 3
I am writing you this not in contempt, but as a friend. A friend who wishes he could be more anxious of your release. A friend who wishes he still wanted to play you more than anything else in the world. A friend who wishes he was counting down the days until you are free for me to purchase.
However, I can not be that friend today..for there is another love in my life now. A love that brings me to my knees when the thought of it enters into my mind. This is a true love...not something partial. This is a love stronger than I EVER felt with you. I'm sorry to be so harsh...but this new passion has brought out the life in me. This new passion is Call of Duty 4.
I know I know you will be the third in your best selling trilogy...but in some cases, that's not such a good thing. I mean when I had you at first, you were the best thing to ever enter my life. I could play you forever and a day, it seemed. Of course, at the time, you had no online capabilities...but that was okay because you made my friends love you enough so that we could have system link parties!
And then, just as soon as I thought my love for you was fading, you hit me with "a conclusion" to your already epic story! The idea of fighting the Covenant on Earth was astounding, and everyone was excited and ready to see you! And that wasn't the best thing...the best was that now, I never had to interact with REAL people ever again! I could just play you online!
Although some claim that your second wasn't as good as your first, it was still a blockbuster amongst not only me, but all of your fans. Years after your release, people still want to play you and still love to play you. Although I personally had strayed a bit from you, you knew just how to get me right back....
...you knew that I needed a Halo 3. And you supplied. What the media released about you was breathtaking...awesome visuals with even better sound. This game was meant to be the best in the entire universe...hands down. You would tease me with your short yet spectacular clips of Master Chief doing something x-core cool. Ha ha ha, I still remember the one with the two young boys laying in the field, pondering of your existence. Boy did that one get heads spinning!
And then that's when you hit us with something unique and unheard of....
...you were going to let us try you out for about a month, months before you were to hit shelves! Unbelievable! We could try out your Beta and see how awesome you were going to be! We were actually going to be able to CONTROL you!!! This news had to be better than Jesus' return to life!
Then, something happened..
I anticipated you...I purchased Crackdown...I downloaded you...and then I played you...
...and then, almost suddenly, I slumped back into my chair filled with utter disappointment.
There wasn't anything that cool about you. There wasn't anything new that really caught me off guard. There wasn't anything that just blew me away. All these months I had spent in anticipation had been blown...you just weren't that appealling. I mean yeah, it was enjoyable to some extent...but as I was playing, I felt that I was just playing Halo 2, only with a few added weapons and 3 different maps. And in short, neither of the two additions were all that great.
Your graphics were a little developed, it seemed...but, it still wasn't anything special. It just felt like I had plugged my second version of you into my new HDTV. Your gameplay was exactly the same as before. Exactly. I figured I'd have to spend some time learning a few more this or thats..and that's exactly what I WANTED to do with you. But no....no it was all pretty much the same thing.
There just wasn't anything there that was all unique and different.
There just wasn't anything there that was very...well...cool.
See, that's where Call of Duty 4 has won my heart. You could argue that "it's the 4th installation of it's series..how can IT be any different?!"...but you and I both know the answer to that question. We both know that not only does it take on a completely different time era, but that it also adds an entire new spectrum into its multiplayer life. Something that you, regretfully, didn't really seem to change. There's so much replay value in COD:4's multiplayer, other than just trying to get better at the game.
I mean, with you, all I can do is change what species I am and then what color I am. And that's pretty much the only change there is to be had. You see, on COD:4, I can change hundreds of things. In COD:4, I'll not only gain more skill as I play the game..but I'll earn more REWARDS as well. And don't you think I should be REWARDED FOR MY GAIN IN SKILL??? Obviously not.
I know one less fan won't break your heart, but I have a feeling it's more than just me whom feels this way. Don't worry, you'll still sell a whole lot of yourself (you whore), and perhaps even a whole lot more than COD:4 will. But, soon players will determine that they really are bored with your regularity. They will get bored at your lack of diversity.
And then they will have an epiphany. They will search for a game which gives them "something new and unique" and a game which "allows them to design their character to their own liking." And in the next step, fate will lead them to discover a new love. Fate, as they say, will lead them to discover a love known as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
I am sorry, Halo 3, but I can no longer love you. You have lost my heart, and it may be near impossible for you to ever get it back...for now, my new love, is stronger and more powerful than ever before...and it is not for you.
I am sorry...but at the same time, I'm not.
Your old best friend,
LL Train
P.S- Please don't go kill yourself now. I couldn't possibly live with that on my conscience.
