ich freue mich ja wirklich auf das spiel morgen. aber das review von ign.com steigert meine vorfreue nicht gerade.

lest selbst:

It is, without question, impressive on several fronts. But developer Ubisoft Montreal took some major missteps along the way and squandered the immense potential of its pseudo-stealth action title. A bad story, repetitive gameplay elements, and poor AI all lead to one of the mostdisappointing games in recent memory. Assassin's Creed should have been one of the great games of this generation. Instead, it turned into just another action title.

EDIT: habe noch weiter gelesen und musste feststellen. wow. da werden bis auf die geil aussehene grafik und das revolutionäre gameplay (einzelne steuerung von armen,beinen etc mit jeweils einem zugeteilten button) keine positiven elemente hervorgehoben.

If Assassin's Creed focused more on its open world and less on the minutiae; if it was a bit more clever and a little less pedantic, it could have turned out to be an incredible game. But this is a title that delivers on too little of its potential.

If you play Assassin's Creed for an hour, you will probably think it's a fantastic game. But as Assassin's progresses, its dual storylines and repetitive quests begin to grow tiresome. There are so many great individual elements, but they are lost among the myriad of poor decisions from Ubisoft Montreal.
