Das deutsche Entwicklerstudio Daedalic hat bekannt gegeben, dass man das Action-Adventure The Lord of the Rings: Gollum entwickelt. Demnach soll der Titel in 2021 auf den Konsolen erscheinen. Das Spiel soll sich auf Sméagols Korruption durch den Ring konzentrieren und die Unreal Engine nutzen.
