Codefree für Pioneer DV-393

Hallo Leute,

habe mir drei Football-DVD's gekauft, habe aber nicht drauf geachtet welchen Regionalcode die haben. Klar - Habe ich Pech gehabt - Natürlich RC1.

Würde nun gerne wissen ob mir jemand von Euch erklären kann (Hoffe sehr das jemand den gleichen Player mit gleichem Problem und einer spitzenmäßigen Lösung hat!!!) wie man das umstellen kann. Habe schon herausgefunden wie man von PAL auf NTSC umstellt. Hat nur nichts geholfen. Das eine hat mit dem anderen nichts zu tun wie ich eben erfahren habe.


Habe auch schon gegooglet und die Suche benutzt, aber nichts gefunden was mir helfen könnte, bis auf das hier:

It seems that both DV-490V and DV-696AV shows the ROM NUMBER and not the FL VERSION as it used to do. If this is a mistake from MediaTek or not I can´t say.
It looks something like this: YDC6502C
Y = MediaTek System
DC = Spec, what area the firmware is for.
6 = Year
5 = Month
02 = Date
C = Version done UP in the day


Methodes for making it multiregional is only tested to work on Region 2 DVDs/DVRs
How can i make my player region free?
There is a couple of ways to do this.
The easiest way today is to upgrade your firmware with one of the unofficial firmwares.

I want my player to be region free but only want to use the original firmwares from Pioneer.
1. Upgrade your players firmware with StM VX.X.
2. Press and hold the Enter button till your player turn it self off.
3. Up(Down)grade your players firmware to one of the Pioneer original firmwares.
4. Your player should now be region free

If I down/upgrade my firmware, will the player lose it region free settings?
Your player will still be region free after you have down/upgraded it .

My player says Region 2 even that i have bought/made it region free?
By some strange reason it shows the original region setting. Only way to control that your player is region free is to play an DVD disc for another region.


Da ich aber über so gut wie keine Englisch-Kenntnisse verfüge hilft mir selbst das nicht weiter. Vielleicht kann die Lösung ja mal bestätigt werden, wenn das zufällig schon mal jemand gemacht hat. Würde mich also auch im schlimmsten Fall über die Übersetzung freuen.
