Soeben gab die Jury, die für die Awards auf der diesjährigen gamescom verantwortlich ist, die Liste der Nominierten bekannt. Zuvor waren über 200 Einreichungen beim gamescom Awardbüro eingegangen. Für die Endrunde des gamescom awards 2016 haben sich über 40 Neuheiten qualifiziert. In insgesamt 24 Kategorien werden in diesem Jahr Gewinner prämiert.
