In Forza Horizon 2 spielt Musik eine sehr große Rolle. So wird der Open-World-Racer wieder mit eine großen Liste an Songs und Radiostationen aufwarten. Die Auswahl traf dabei der BBC-Radio-DJ Rob da Bank zusammen mit Playground Games. Ingesamt stehen uns fast 150 verschiedenen Tracks verteilt auf sieben verschiedenen Radiostationen zur Verfügung. Zu Beginn des Spiels stehen aber erst drei Radiostationen zur Auswahl. Die vier anderen Stationen werden  erst im Verlauf des Spiels freigeschaltet.
